BDC is seeking a Fabrication Technician to become an integral part of the organization.  This individual will work in a team environment to assemble and wire electrical control enclosures, products or components. General mechanicals skill will be utilized for; metal drilling & tapping, metal cutting and piping together valve trains and applicable components.

Responsibilities:

• Cut-out control enclosure based on design
• Mount applicable control devices
• Run seal-tight and or conduit
• Wire all devices according to AutoCAD design
• Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
• General piping skills from " to 2" npt
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clear and organized work environment

Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong electrical knowledge, technical ability, and some troubleshooting skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multi-task efficiently

Education/Experience

• 3-5 years of electrical/mechanical experience
• Associate degree or equivalent certificate in the related field a plus
• Basic piping skills required
• Proficient reading AutoCAD drawings
